Christians throughout the Middle East are persecuted by their Islamic neighbors, religiously, dangerously, and to such a degree that it makes many feel unsafe, and the need to flee. Few places are worse than Pakistan where a sizable Christian minority remains, where they are not even second class citizens, where they are not protected, and Moslems feel free if not empowered to beat, torture, and burn to death anyone in their crosshairs, for any reason. Some commit unspeakable acts we cannot even show you. Others stand on and watch, like torturing Christians is a spectator sport.
