In general, baseball is a common denominator among many countries and cultures, attracting children to one of the best and widely popular sports around the world. Playing baseball is not to be taken for granted ever, especially in Israel, and especially in Israel during a war when something as simple as playing ball can be a critical respite and gives children and adults a sense of normalcy.
